Know To Set Up Your Email Account In Mac Mail

·         Select Add Other Mail Account.

·         Go to the Path Prefix, and then enter Inbox.

·         If you have IMAP, then be sure that you have either port 143 with no SSL or you have 993 with SSL.

Enter the information in Outgoing Mail Server

Here, you can also call on Apple technical support number to fill all the information with no trouble. Anyway you may also follow the instructions:

·         In user name, enter your full email address.

·         Now, enter password.

·         You will get message as ‘Additional account information required’.

·         Now, you can use port 26 and 465 with no SSL and SSL respectively.

·         Now, set password and click on create button.

Complete the setup process

To complete the setup process, go through the procedure shown below:

·         Select Preferences from Mail.

·         Click on Account tad, and then on Advance.

·         Click on Account Information, and then go to the Outgoing Mail Server and choose ‘edit SMTP Server List’.

·         Now, uncheck the option as ‘Automatically detect and maintain settings’.

·         Now, click on OK.
