Other names in the sale include Stephen Hawking, Alan Turing, Kim Il Sung, Barack Obama, the Kennedy brothers, Theodore Roosevelt, Harriet Beecher Stowe and MLK Jr.

Also, a Tag Heuer Autavia GMT 2446C watch featuring a blue and red ‘Pepsi’ GMT bezel sold for $17,700 and 1972 Rolex Reference 1680 red Submariner Date men’s watch brought $24,780.

The online-only sale also featured an early 20th century Peabody’s Overalls single-sided porcelain sign that made $8,850. Overall, the 650-lot auction grossed $389,164.

The sale features both traditional and modern furniture, rugs and lighting from private Florida, New York, New Jersey, North Carolina and Pennsylvania households.

The auction will be held online and live at the gallery in Aberdeen, Mississippi. Hundreds of hard-to-find items in today’s market will cross the auction block, over 500 quality lots in all.

The auction, at 11 am Pacific time, will offer a strong selection of fine art along with antiques and design from antiquity through the 21st century. Over 200 quality lots will be sold.

Offered will be sterling silver, art glass, lighting, modern and antique furniture, porcelains, glassware, garden sculptures and planters, jewelry, objects for the home.

The auction, starting at 3 pm noon Pacific time, will be conducted by Appraisal & Estate Sale Specialists, Inc. Nearly 500 lots will be sold. Online bidding will be via LiveAuctioneers. com.

The auction will be held live on-site at the Vermont State Fairgrounds by VanDerBrink Auctions, from 10 am-6 pm Eastern time. It’ll be a motorcycle collector’s paradise.

The Dragonfly table lamp and Nakashima furniture will be part of the Artisan Studio session on Wednesday, August 4th. Over 1,500 lots will cross the auction block over three days.
