Another Nova Scotia folk artist – Joe Norris (1924-1996) – also did well, as four of his paintings combined for $49,560. Overall, the auction grossed $491,264.
The lithographs and maquettes will be auctioned online and in PAI's New York City gallery, located at 26 West 17th Street, beginning promptly at 11 am Eastern time.
