It has also been established that yoga has a relaxing effect on the mind. It helps to reduce the mental stress and anxiety which can cause serious damage to the immune system. It also helps to restore the balance between the positive and negative energies. This helps the mind to heal itself and get rid of the mental stress and anxiety. Therefore, yoga is very useful in improving the immune system and fighting psychological illnesses like insomnia, depression and even cancer.

Yoga helps to keep you fit. It makes sure that your muscles remain supple and flexible. It keeps you healthy and strong by strengthening the connective tissues in your body. One of the major functions of these connective tissues is to ensure the stability of our bones and also ward off diseases like osteoporosis. Regular yoga practice helps in keeping your bones strong and also wards of cancer. Therefore, yoga is very important for boosting the immune system.

Yoga has a lot of benefits. However, it should be practiced with utmost care and caution. There are many individuals who are suffering from various ailments and disorders and they are not practicing yoga. This is a very big mistake you can make.
