Ahneman Kirby, LLC, formerly known as J.A. Kirby Co. (founded in 1871) is a full service civil engineering firm with specialized capability in buildings, bridge, highway, and construction services. The firm maintains professional staff with expertise in the areas of GIS, hydraulics and hydrology, culvert and bridge analysis, design and inspection, construction, and civil engineering. Complete services provided by the firm include project management; complex analysis, geometric assessment, and horizontal control considerations; conceptual/preliminary design; final design layout; site engineering; feasibility studies; and construction services including staking, field inspection/supervision, contract administration, as-built drawing preparation and quantity review.

Ahneman Kirby is headquartered in Greenwich with an office in Portchester, NY. We provide complete office support for the preparation of technical reports, maps, plans, and engineering documents. The office includes residential, commercial, municipal and CAD/drafting departments, reprographic facilities, a technical library and 3D facility. Our CAD department uses the latest version of AutoCAD with documents produced on monochrome and color inkjet plotter, and high-speed HP printer.
