Il Limoncello Restaurant at the Orange Innwas opened by brothers Luigi and Victor Kapiti inAugust, 2006.The Kapitis both have over 20 years in the restaurant business and performed a magnificant transformation on what was once a run down inn and restaurant. Although Limoncello is new the Orange Inn dates back to 1790 when it was opened as a real Inn.George Washington and manyhistorical figures especially from the Revolutionary War era have stayed at the Inn. During the Civil War the Inn was often used asa haven forescaped slaves.
When you enter Limoncello to the right is a large, open room that is perfect for banquettes. This main dining room is beautifully decorated and highlighted by white pilars on it's perimeter. To the left is a smaller room that is absolutely gorgeous. Separated from the entrance by a stone-and-wood wall with beveled glass windows, it features almost every architectural nuance imaginable. The stone wall climbs up to form arches for the doorways. White columns are along a section toward the back of the room. A handsome fireplaceand stylish chandeliers, sconces and heavy drapes all add to the luxurious feel of the room.
The menu at Limoncello is classic Northern Italian and American. We feature all ofthe old favorites such as Veal Parmigiana, Lobster Ravioli, Homemade Manicotti, and Fettuccine Alfredo. If Italian is not your choice the menu also includes sizzling steaks, chops and chicken. Lunch and dinner specials are available daily and we also have a children's menu.
