Construction of Jamestown's First House
The Fenton and City of Jamestown will commemorate the event on November 18, 2010 at the cabin site, the corner of 8th St. and Jones & Gifford Ave., at 1:30 PM. The newly filled time capsule for 2060 will be buried during the event. A reception and art show opening will be held following the outdoor commemoration. More information.

Girls and Dolls Holiday Tea
1:00 to 3:00 PM. A special holiday event for young ladies, their mothers, grandmothers, aunts and friends. The event includes tea, dessert, a craft and tour of the Fenton Mansion decked out in its seasonal finery. The cost is $15 per ticket. Space is limited. Reservations are required.

Smithsonian Museum Day is Saturday, Septmeber 25. Visitors to the Fenton can receive free admission to the museum by downloading the required ticket.
