Welcome to the Valley School of Dance, established in 1982.
Our studio is located in historic downtown Geneseo and overlooks the scenic Genesee Valley. The bulding, located on Main Street, dates back to the early mid-1800's and served for most of those years as an Odd Fellow's Hall. One of the first things you may notice on entering the building, is the abundance of original natural woodwork and attractive tin ceilings. The inherent warmth of this physical environment is only enhanced by the welcoming and loving attitude of our teaching staff as well as by all of you - students, parents and visitors.
Our vision here at the Valley School of Dance is to offer excellence in dance training with an attitude of kindness and respect, to cultivate confidence and self-esteem, and to support the development of the whole person - body, mind, heart and spirit - all through the fun and joy of movement and dance. Our dance instructors are professionally trained, some are certified in specific movement and dance styles, and all are enthusiastically ready to serve you!
