The sale featured the collection of Chris Huntington, arguably the most recognized name in the world of Canadiana folk art. Categories included Canadiana, folk art, textiles, art and decoys.

The catalog features sterling silver flatware services and other sterling objects; Ralph Loren and Polo handbags; dazzling jewelry pieces; Herend and Swarovski figures; vintage pens; and toys.

Headlining the sale are remarkable works by women artists, led by a large-scale piece by the American abstract expressionist Alice Baber and a wonderful night scene by Susan Hertel.

Categories include numismatics (coins, medals, tokens, US Mint ephemera), bottles, mining, minerals, Native Americana, general Americana, toys, militaria, railroadiana, art and stocks.

The auction, featuring 169 lots, will showcase several examples of quality American art, Modern art and Contemporary art, starting promptly at 6pm Eastern time.

The sale, starting at 10am Central Time both days, online and live in-person in the New Orleans gallery, consists of 600 lots, pulled from prominent estates and collections throughout the South.

The events will feature Staffordshire, majolica, antique glass, rose bowls, miniature oil lamps, pottery, ceramics, cast iron, sterling silver, glass candy containers, Lusterware, oyster plates.

Highlights include a Magic: The Gathering Limited Edition Alpha factory-sealed starter deck in case with magnetic lid, estimated at $50,000-$70,000.

Miller & Miller Auctions, Ltd. will be busy as Canadian beaver later this month, as the auction powerhouse has five consecutive days of auctions slated for May 21st-25th.
