Auction

The auction includes items sure to satisfy disparate collecting interests. A wide range of collectible categories will be featured. Start times for both days will be 10 am Eastern time.

June 15th will feature an Automobilia, Petroliana & Advertising auction. June 16th will have a Canadiana, Advertising & Historic Objects auction and an Automobilia & Advertising auction.

The day features rare items pertaining to Black Americana, Civil War, Abraham Lincoln, Gen. George A. Custer, and 19th century Western outlaws like Black Bart and the Grey Fox.

The catalog includes items for basketball fans, Los Angeles Lakers fans, baseball enthusiasts, football fanatics & horse racing aficionados. It’s a rare chance to own a piece of sports history.

The Rare Signed Autographs, Manuscripts, Books & Space Memorabilia auction will start at 10 am Eastern time. All 510 lots are up for viewing and bidding on the University Archives website.

Highlights included a Niermann Weeks ‘Calais’ 6-light chandelier ($5,115); an 18th century American School oil on canvas portrait ($4,538); and a Kirk & Son sterling repousse pitcher ($4,840).

The auction, at 10 am Eastern time, will feature beautiful bucolic animals in bronze, original paintings and engravings, idyllic landscapes and still lifes, and objects of desire.

Expected top lots include a hard-to-find 1976 Philip & Kelvin LaVerne ‘Chan Li’ cabinet and an oil on canvas landscape painting by Kim Douglas (K. D.) Wiggins (New Mexico, b. 1956).

The address is 4177 East 1st Street in Blue Ridge, right off GA-515. It’s a two-minute drive from downtown Blue Ridge and just a block off of Main Street. Look for the big bronze bear outside!

The posters and preparatory works feature rare and iconic images from a century of poster design. The auction will be held online and live at the PAI gallery in New York City, at 11 am Eastern.
