The incentives provided by the government for the implementation of EMR and EHR systems can be a definite financial advantage, especially for PCPs. However, streamlining all the departmental processes to implement this cutting-edge technology is perhaps the most important prerequisite for qualifying for the incentives through ‘Meaningful Use’.
