A Malaysian startup, Uniquepro Meta Holdings Sdn Bhd (“Unique”), has launched the first-ever Metaverse Hall of Fame gallery featuring former Prime Minister of Malaysia Tun Dr Mahathir bin Mohamad and other legends who have made huge contributions to the country.
De-Capital being the co-organiser and service provider of the Metaverse technology, has launched the Metaverse Virtual Gallery together with Uniquepro. The Metaverse Virtual Gallery aims to build a platform where art and technology are seamlessly intertwined, so that a new generation of artists can take advantage of the latest cutting-edge technology to unleash their true potential.
The Metaverse Virtual Gallery is open to the public and uses both the virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) technologies. It showcases the memorable historical moments of Tun Dr Mahathir bin Mohamad and his wife, Tun Dr Siti Hasmah Mohamad Ali, as well as other iconic national leaders and celebrities.
The Metaverse Virtual Gallery will be developed in various stages, using a collection of old and new photos of Tun Dr Mahathir bin Mohamad and Tun Dr Siti Hasmah Mohamad Ali, including limited edition artworks and designs by renowned local artists.
“This led to the development of UNIQ META World Gallery & NFT (non-fungible token) this year, and its maiden project in the form of ‘Legacy for Tun Dr Mahathir’.” Said the Chairman of Uniquepro.
De-Capital sees the potential of this project and therefore co-organised and providing technology supports to this project. De-Capital hopes to bring better prospects to its community members in the near future.
De-Capital is a venture capital based on the decentralised autonomous organisation (DAO) model which focuses on investing in web3.0.
