German Chocolate Brand Madame Chéri Successfully Passes on Ownership to the Next Generation

Madame Chéri is a premium German chocolate and fine foods company headquartered in Düsseldorf, Germany and serving customers around the world. With its first recipe established 1952, the portfolio grew into gourmet products around chocolate, nuts and dried fruits.

During the annual general meeting on 1st July 2022 it was agreed that Clara Bratfisch, who has been introduced to the company and the industry over the last year, is ready to take over the leadership along with the majority stakes of the company.

“In 2022, the brand Madame Chéri along with the parent company Kaffee und Schokolade GmbH has evolved into a true growth company focused on quality, tradition and innovation around gourmet food and especially premium chocolate. We will continue to work on the highest quality chocolate and fine foods with respect to the established outstanding quality and customer experience. For the next decade, Madame Chéri will be making headway towards internationalization and further grow in the German market.
