Talented horror actor and owner of Nightmare Arts Gallery, Tony Slade, set to host Grim Pickins, a new series where he scours the world with the audience to find antiques and rare items.
Tony Slade is set to take his audience across this great land of ours on an amazing adventure searching for antiques, collectibles, and just plain weird stuff as he hosts a new live shopping series, Grim Pickins. This weekly show will be broadcast live across several social media platforms, with the first episode scheduled to be live at Endless Treasures in Mount Holly New Jersey.
There have been many shows over the years where people are buying vintage and unique pieces or finding that hidden treasure in a storage unit, flea market, shop, yard sale, and other such events. However, it was always the people on TV that got to enjoy the fruit of their labors also a good number of individuals do not have the time to go shopping, which is where Tony Slade and the brains behind Grim Pickins hope to come in. They plan to make it relatively easy for shoppers to acquire rate items without leaving the comfort of their homes.
The first show will be live at Endless Treasures, a spot known for offering vintage and cool items across different categories, including home decor, painted furniture, repurposed items and a plethora of unique treasures.
Grim Pickins will be traveling the world to explore shops that sell unique and different items, separating trash from treasure and allowing people to shop as they enjoy the adventure. The initiative by Pirate TV is unique and laudable, creating a platform for the local mom and pop stores to reach a wider audience while enabling viewers to shop as they enjoy an amazing experience on their screens.
The live show will be aired on Facebook, YouTube, twitch, Twitter, and TikTok, as Tony Slade unravels the world of hidden treasures as seen in the teaser.
