May, 2022, the Open Road on the Lower 48 – Aloha and Kia Ora! Two Lovebirds living their best life in a Kenworth T680 Semi-Truck full-time, exploring and discovering the lower forty-eight are proud to announce the debut of their new website, MeandtheKiwi.com
This is a one-of-a-kind website created by a Kiwi driver from New Zealand, Chris, and his shotgun-riding hippie girlfriend, Heather. The adventurous couple shares their travel tales on the website through their posts, photos, and diaries. They also go into detail about what it is like to live in a semi-truck, including the challenges and rewards, as well as how and where to go. With titles like “How We Shower on the Road” and “How I Broke Out of My Funk Living in a Semi-Truck,” each engaging blog post is written in a tone that makes the reader feel like they are a part of the adventure and are ready to hit the road themselves.
"Live your life by a compass, not a clock." That is the motto Heather and Chris live by as they travel across the United States, making stops along the way and spending time embracing the journey. Already well-known on social media, the new website is a natural extension of their travels and story, which has received attention from a variety of media outlets, including Fodor's, Stacking Benjamins, Rova, and Go Nomad, to name a few.
