Life Launch Centers opens new center in Utah County

Life Launch Centers has added another center in Utah County. The center, which provides intensive outpatient counseling teaching to hundreds of families, aims at reaching more families and individuals.
The Life Launch Centers teach its clients how to overcome anxiety, depression, suicide ideation, trauma, and other mental health challenges. The center utilizes the most current brain research combined with evidence-based intervention models like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and concepts of the Daring Way and Rising Strong curriculum based on Brene Brown's resilience research.
Their model for building resilience is easy to teach and implement. According to the center's representative, the model is portable and effective in all ages and circumstances.
With the opening of the Utah County center, Life Launch Centers now has five centers. The rest are in Cedar City, West Jordan, Hurricane, and St George.
The center is managed by Davee Chandler LCSW, a clinical director. The Utah Center is located at 383 N. State Street, Suite 201, Orem, UT 84057.
How they started
The Life Launch Center's representative said that after working for decades in the counseling profession, addiction recovery, and criminal justice systems, the founders thought about prevention services where they can help kids divert away from juvenile delinquency.
"Why do we have to wait until our kids have an addiction, suicidal ideation, or criminal behavior before we help them?" expressed the founders.
This mere question started their vision of working on the preventative side rather than the reparative side. They pooled their knowledge, resources, and training to create the Life Launch Centers Resilience Model. The curriculum has helped hundreds of families and individuals overcome the anxiety and depression that holds people back in life.
In 2019 the curriculum was developed into a video training series for secondary education. Over the last three years, thousands of students have learned the power of the Resilience Model, how to cope with life's pressures in healthy ways, and how to take back control of their emotions.
In 2017 they opened their first center in St. George, Utah, followed by West Jordan center, Utah, in 2019. In the same year, they started the Life Launch University in schools. The opening of the new center at Utah County brings their services closer to the people who need them.
Open from Monday to Friday from nine to five. The Utah Life Launch Centers are available by appointment only and open from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM.
For those who do not have access to the newly opened centers, Life Launch Centers are also available online. Virtual groups are open, providing clients with a platform to get assistance and advice from others.
