New York, NY- Rick Ormortis Schreck, creator of the OuijaZilla and owner of House Of 1000 Tattoos was joined by author Mike Drake Tuesday night at the AMC Empire 25 theatre for a private advance screening of Universal’s new thriller HALLOWEEN KILLS.
The film is a sequel to 2018's Halloween and the twelfth installment in the Halloween franchise. The film stars Jamie Lee Curtis and Nick Castle, who reprise their roles as Laurie Strode and Michael Myers, with James Jude Courtney also portraying Myers again. Judy Greer, Andi Matichak, and Will Patton also reprise their roles from the previous film, with Anthony Michael Hall and Thomas Mann joining the cast. The film, which begins precisely where the previous film ended, sees Strode and her family continuing to fend off Myers, this time, with the help of the Haddonfield community.
“As a horror fan, Halloween and the tale of Michael Myers and Laurie Strode has been a huge part of my life for over three decades. I’m beyond excited to once again join Jamie Lee Curtis on this dark journey” author Mike Drake enthused.
"Nothing warms my heart more than the sound of those piano keys. I am beyond psyched to have Jamie Lee Curtis stab her way into my heart once again as she tries to rid the world of Michael ." proclaimed Rick Ormortis Schreck, star of Amazon’s series Haus of Schreck.
Both Schreck and Drake have (separately) appeared in Ripley’s Believe It Or Not! Daily comic strips and books. Schreck as the creator of the world’s largest Ouija board known as OuijaZilla, and Drake as the creator of unusual resin sculptures.
Halloween Kills is scheduled to be theatrically released in the United States on October 15, 2021, by Universal Pictures; it will also stream on paid tiers of Peacock for 60 days.
