Khartoum (September 05, 2021) - CTC Group president Mr. Ahmed Amin Abdellatif spoke at the U.S. – Sudan Business and Investment Forum held via a webinar in cooperation with the Corporate Council on Africa (CCA).
In an online forum held between the CCA and the U.S. – Sudan Business Council on March 31st 2021, Mr. Ahmed Amin Abdellatif was a speaker alongside H.E. Abdalla Hamdok, Prime Minister at Republic of Sudan, Ms. Dana Banks, President Joe Biden Special Assistant and Senior Director for Africa at the National Security Council as well as the minister of agriculture and the minister of finance and economic planning at Republic of Sudan. Other key speakers included the president and chief executive at Eastern and Southern African Trade and Development Bank, the Senior VP and Head of Global Govt Engagement at VISA, the president of BOEING Middle East, Africa and Turkey among many others.
Mr. Abdellatif’s speech focused on the agricultural business in Sudan and stressed on its importance as a new source of food stability for Sudan and Africa as a whole as well. “Sudan has the largest unutilized land for arable land in the world”, said Mr Abdellatif as he showcases Sudan’s agricultural potential and investment opportunities. Mr Ahmed Abdellatif has led CTC group towards sustainable development through the implementation of world class certified management systems, with a particular focus on the nurturing and development of local human resources. He aims to have the group focus heavily on the social responsibility towards the Sudanese culture as well as improving the quality of life in general.
