While discussing the new news related to residential property with the expert at Elite Homes and Property in East London, it had been revealed and confirmed as per the statistics that 80% of private renters in England are happy with their accommodations. According to the Elite Homes and Property survey for 2019/20, 83 percent of private renters are pleased with their present housing, a proportion that has been consistent over the last decade. In a comparison, the proportion of social tenants who are pleased with their housing has dropped from 81 percent in 2018/19 to 78 percent this year.
According to survey reports conducted by the Elite Homes and Property experts, 75% of private renters are happy with how their proprietors handle repairs and upkeep. Elite Homes and Property has confirmed this percentage to be the highest percentage in over a decade. On the other hand, 66 percent of social tenants were happy with how their landlords handled repairs and upkeep, down one percentage point from the previous year. According to the government poll, tenants who dealt directly with a landlord had a better rental experience than those who dealt with a letting agent.
From the initial contact through the day, they moved into the home, it was questioned from the private renters about how pleased they were with the services given to them by the property owner. In addition, it was asked from them, if they rented via a leasing agency, the letting agent. When their property owner supplied services, 85 percent were happy, whereas 79 percent felt the same when a renting agent offered them.
It has been stated by expert at Elite Homes and Property that:
“The authorities are aware of the difficulties facing the private rental sector and remains dedicated to addressing them in a spirit of collaboration among tenants, landlords, and government. Today's statistics, on the other hand, show that the great majority of private renters are happy with their accommodations and the service given by their property owner. This favorable response is indicative of renters' experiences in the private leased sector, and future adjustments must be seen through this lens.”
