This class of digital camera comes in a few distinct configurations but what they have in common is zoom lenses of 10X. Some will seem just as with other pocket friendly digital cameras but they will be a little thicker to include the very long lens.
Others are going to resemble a pro camera complete with a hand grip and a lens that does not retract flush into the body. We call these latter cameras"bridge" cameras because they aren't really compact cameras are they big DSLR style camerasthey bridge between those two popular groups.
The super zoom cameras are often called"sports zooms" because they are preferred by soccer, baseball and football parents to one. Parents of children playing organized outside sports would be the number users of super zoom cameras. They can not get any closer to the players than the hive however a super zoom could set them in the center of the huddle.
