I love scented candles and my favourite are the Trapp candles, and that I love the orange-vanilla ones. They generally cost about $17 each because they burn for such a very long time. It give me a extremely relaxed feeling when I light them. All mine are extremely clean smelling like Vanilla or Verbena.
But I know from experience that a number of candles turn walls that the many candles can cause significant health issues. The chief offenders are candles with wicks made out of metal cores.
Not all of candles - or even all scented candles - trigger poisonous contamination. But since labels will not tell which ones are secure, the candle pros provide this advice.
Use only the organic vegetable waxes and beeswax. The natural vegetable waxes and beeswax are definitely better than parrafin. Parrafin candles aren't great for you and for me personally. Most candles you can get at the grocery, drugstore etc are made with parrafin and many have direct wicks.
If you truly want the best for yourself and everyone in your home, invest a little more on soy or beeswax candles. Look also for all those with essential oil based fragrances.
