The new Laser Corrosion Cleaning eliminates paint from almost every surface by a self-contained, self-regulating process that greatly reduces environmental dangers to homeowners. The robotic tool is available in the market for installation and maintenance of any kind of exterior surface, including concrete, brick, wood, metal and concrete slabs, vinyl siding and brick patios.
The Robotic Robot is comprised of a remote control and a computer. This makes it possible to adjust the depth of penetration into the surface and apply the paint evenly without disturbing the base material. In addition, the robot does not leave streaks, smears or other undesirable marks on the surface. It is designed to last for long periods of time without requiring frequent maintenance.
The Robot is composed of several components. It consists of an arm that is equipped with three rotating brushes that apply a fine layer of paint that is easily removed from the surface. Another part of the Robot includes a nozzle which is capable of spraying the entire surface of the surface. A micro-fibre brush collects the paint droplets, keeping them from running off into surrounding areas.
The Cleaning System consists of five parts: the cleaning machine, a motor, two brushes and an arm. The motor is the core of the cleaning machine and it is the component that run the robot.
The Cleaning Machine consists of a powerful vacuum cleaner that sucks the dust and debris that come with the paint. The arm on the robot is used for application of the paint on the surface. The arm is equipped with three rotating brushes that apply a smooth, even coat of paint to the exterior surface.
The Cleaning System is the most important component of the Robotic Tool. The arm allows the Robot to apply a layer of paint evenly onto the surface without the use of excessive strokes or brush pressure. The Micro Fiber Brush collects the paint droplets and keeps them from running off to other areas. The Robotic Robot is also equipped with a vacuum tube that can remove the residual coating from the ground.
In case the Robot fails to reach the underlying material, the cleaning arms are powered by a small electrical generator. In case of malfunction, the power supply to the power source is disconnected.
The Robotic Tool uses a battery for power supply, as well as the cleaning motor, the cleaning arm and the Robot. When a battery becomes dead, the Robot must be turned off and charged. The power supply is also connected to the central station to ensure a steady supply of power.
In the case that the Robot malfunctions, it requires a remote repair service to turn the Robotic Tool back on and get back to the job. If the Robotic Tool is powered by the battery, the Robot is not required to be remotely operated. However, if the power is cut off, the Robot needs to be rebooted.
When applying the paint, the Cleaning System uses three different types of tools. The first tool is called the brush, which is used to apply the paint into the metal surface, the second is known as the micro fibre brush and the third is known as a vacuum cleaner.
The brush has three steps in its operation. First, the brush moves through the paint with high speed. In case of a thick layer, the brush picks up a large amount of dust and then passes over it, allowing the dust to fall off in the next pass.
Second, the micro fibre brush collects the dust and squeezes the paint droplets. This action loosens the dust that is collected from the brush, leaving behind a fine coat of paint. The third step of the brush is to pick up the loose dust that was left behind by the brush and squeeze it into the brush head to be used for another application.
