Keyboard shortcuts or hot keys are individual or sets of keys that trigger shortcuts which would have otherwise required use of the mouse to browse the menus. Keyboard shortcuts are found throughout most computer programs from Adobe Photoshop to Microsoft Word. Some shortcuts are available by pressing just 1 key at a time, whilst others need keys to be pressed after the other or concurrently. Click This Link
Together with the keyboard shortcuts is ergonomic which means"the science of designing the job, equipment, and office to fit the worker."
It may even cause injuries called Repetitive Strain Injury (RSI) and Tendonitis (inflammation of the joints.) All this can be avoided by using the shortcuts that are right there on the computer keyboard, which considerably reduces the requirement to use the mouse.
Besides my prior point, using the mouse rather than the keyboard shortcuts wastes time. Shortcut keys are much more efficient, especially if you have a shortcuts keyboard (a keyboard that has the shortcuts on them by stickers, a silicone cap or printed onto the actual keys).
Statistics show that individuals using keyboard shortcuts, with the use of an editing computer keyboard in particular, keyboard shortcuts work around 40% quicker than those who don't. You do not need to be a genius to understand that functioning 40% faster means becoming almost two times as much work done! Additionally, all the time spent with one hand invisibly between the mouse and the keyboard adds up and will slow down your workflow, even more so if placing the mouse how you want it to proceed and clicking through endless menus when you could attain exactly the exact same action by pressing a key or two, paying just seconds of your valuable time.
