Sustainable Swimwear Brand Joseph & Alexander Partners with Formula E on Shorts Made from Recycled

Dublin (March 16, 2020) – Joseph & Alexander, a sustainable swimwear brand, is pleased to announce their collaboration with Formula-E to create a one-of-a-kind and limited edition shorts that are made from recycled plastics. 

Every year, more and more plastics are produced. Humans are generating more than 300 million tons of plastics per year, fifty percent of which is for single-use applications. Thus, over eight million tons of plastics are dumped into the oceans each year. To deal with this issue, the swimwear brand Joseph & Alexander, decided to create an exclusive pair of shorts that are made out of plastics. 

The Joseph & Alexander x Formula E is the limited edition swim shorts that integrate the unique chevrons and electric Formula E car. The pair of shorts is made of superior quality and is 100% sustainable, not to mention they are also comfortable like no other. Joseph & Alexander were able to personalize their shorts to their liking so they can safely suggest it to anyone interested. Going green does not indicate compromising on style or comfort. 

The swimwear brand takes pride in its sustainability causes and doing the right thing. They set out with a goal to craft stunning swimwear, which safeguards the skin and do the least harmful way. Recently, they launched their Re-Recycle Program, where customers can recycle their J&A swimwear with them, helping them make a circular lifecycle for the fibers.
