HAGATNA, GUAM (April 20, 2019) - The Connect Guam (www.theconnectguam.com), a locally based website offering a new and innovative platform that builds an online community of local professionals and business listings announces the official launch of its App. The site features more than 70 business vendors, and is continuing its growth as a convenient platform for users to search and connect with local professionals and businesses. Users can keyword search specific products or services needed or browse through categories. The Connect Guam showcases a variety of listings in industries inclusive of home repair, auto, food and beverage, recreational, event planning, specialty services, a shop local category, and more.
In addition to ease of keyword searching specific to Guam, detailed product and service listing information, user review features, and deals, The Connect Guam also provides unique vetting tools. These vetting tools allow for businesses that obtain proper licensing and credentials to be highlighted. A “VERIFIED” badge is placed on business listings that provide business license(s) and verify all listing contact information. A “PRO” badge is placed on business listings that provide any certifications or credentials related to the services offered on The Connect.
The tech start up, officially launched its website (www.theconnectguam.com) August of 2018. Since then The Connect Guam has had over 100,000 unique views on the website, 28,000 users, from Guam and with new users growing in different regions from our neighboring island Saipan to the United States, South Korea, and the Philippines.
The Connect Guam App is now available to download on Google Play Store and App Store. The team will be celebrating The Connect Guam App launch party for businesses to learn more about the new digital platform on April 25th at The Guam Museum from 5:00PM to 8:00PM.

The Connect Guam (www.theconnectguam.com) is locally owned by Lisa Sanchez Alicto, a 2006 graduate from Academy of Our Lady of Guam, and earned an associate’s degree in supervision & management from Guam Community College, and a bachelor’s degree in entrepreneurship from the University of Guam. The Connect is currently a two-woman team with Sanchez Alicto running development operations and partner a seasoned Marketing professional, Patrice Hara, a University of San Francisco graduate, heading marketing and sales.
