Intercourse makes all the vessels of the pelvic organs fill with blood and the muscle relax. This makes cervix widen more. Without the protecting mucous plug, there are more chances for infection to get into a woman’s body. It can easily get into the uterus where the tissues are damaged and vulnerable to inflammation.

This is why it is important to stick to the doctor’s recommendations about your intimate life after abortion, regardless of the abortion option you went with. A month of waiting is not that hard and unpleasant as the diseases you may have if you do not wait. Besides, your sex after this break will surely be unforgettable being long-awaited and desired!
