EDsmart's ranking of thebest online history degree programs is the most comprehensive and well-rounded to date.The ranking includes only fully accredited schools that offer history degree programs online. Rankings are based on academic quality, student satisfaction and return on investment.
The EDsmart2019 ranking of the top 20 online history degree programs finds Valparaiso University in the top spot.Northwestern Universityand University of Saint Josephcome in second and third, respectively.
A spokesperson for EDsmart explained, "Over the past few years, we noticed a sharp rise in the number of universities developing their online learning programs into degree programs that provide exceptional academics and put student outcomes first.The schools that made our list not only provide high quality programs foreducation and career advancement, they also offer amazing post-graduation earnings for their students. In addition, most of these schools offer additional financial aid by way of scholarships, fellowships, and loans."
