Uses: Viropil tablet is a prescription medicine, used to treat HIV. It is an antiretroviral drug that contains 3 different medications in one pill - 50mg Dolutegravir, 300mg Lamivudine, and 300mg Tenofovir Disoproxil Fumarate. Two of the drugs (lamivudine and tenofovir disoproxil) are from a class of drugs known as NRTIs (nucleoside/nucleotide reverse transcriptase inhibitors). The third drug, dolutegravir, is in a class of medications called HIV integrase inhibitors. Each drug class works against HIV in a different way.
