The Canterbury Brook Inn in Cornwall NY serves authentic continental cuisine with a Swiss flavor.
Chef and owner Hans Baumann, offers traditional Swiss dishes served in the European style. There are several dining rooms, two with fireplaces for the cooler weather, as well as seasonal al fresco terrace dining overlooking the picturesque Canterbury Brook. The exposed wooden beamed ceiling gives the Pub Room a rustic feel.
Don't miss the $17.95 Complete Dinner Special available Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. For Dinner the inn opens at 5 PM, Tuesday through Saturday. On- and off-premises catering is available for all occasions and private parties are welcome.
Most major credit cards are accepted.
The ambiance is perfect throughout the year. Fall and Winter: Warm up by the fire with our oven baked French onion soup, home-made spätzle and pork tenderloin Zürichoise. Spring and Summer: Stop by for lighter fare on the terrace--don't miss the Portabella mushroom, toasted pepper with fresh mozzarella & basil on a toasted club roll.

A "nice selection of steaks, chops and fish" share menu space with Swiss specialties like Wiener Schnitzel reflecting chef-owner Hans Baumann's roots, while attentive service caps off the comfortable atmosphere.
