Choose from the extensive selection of wines, browse the daily specials or a menu, both offering fine American cuisine, including a variety of unusual meats, such as ostrich, buffalo steaks, and venison. Dear Friends, In the heart of the scenic Delaware River Valley, we have joined our passion for good food and wine with our desire for country living, to bring you a gourmet restaurant of distinction. After searching for a place where we could combine our experience in food service and our love for entertaining, we purchased and began the restoration of this historic building which once housed in turn: a bank, a clothing store, a dry goods mercantile and a luncheonette. As work progressed, a classic tin ceiling and original brickwork were uncovered and became the centerpiece of our restaurant. Named for the prominent date etched on the building's facade, The 1906 Restaurant opened for business in 1988. The dining and catering facilities were expanded in 1992. We invite you to come dine with us. Our excellent service and emphasis on quality and consistency have made us one of the finest restaurants in the region. You and your guests will always remember your enjoyable evening at The 1906 Restaurant.
