Acoustics is poorly understood by most people, and practical solutions to noise problems are not properly taught in schools. As a result, there is a large amount of incorrect advice given by people with a title or a magazine article to their credit, but little successful practical experience. Do-it-yourselfers rely on website stores that make deceptive claims for the expensive materials they sell.
Much of our work consists of troubleshooting acoustic problems caused by poor design, or no design at all. We specialize in inexpensive solutions to problems that many people give up on, or spend too much money trying to fix. We usually save our clients more money than our fee and the results are better as well.
We are not contractors; we have no incentive to recommend expensive work; we work for you.
