Journey with five sisters as they search for the Spirit of Christmas. Forced to stay with a cold and jealous aunt after their mothers death and fathers travel to share the wonders of medicine, the sisters bond together. The oldest sisters share stories of Christmas that their mother once told in hopes of keeping her memory alive.
Travel with these sisters as their mother magically transports them through a dream. Here, her daughters will encounter shimmering snowflakes, playful penguins, and friendly forest animals as they make their way to a warm and inviting workshop. Is this the place where Santa and the Christmas Spirit lives, or is it just another place for these five sisters to rest their feet and hope for the things they so deeply wish to see on Christmas morning? Do these sisters have what it takes to make this the Christmas of all Christmases; and can their new friends help them?
The Search for Christmas Spirit is a new ballet created by novelist Cynthia Henry. It will be presented on December 11th and 12th at the Newark Middle School Auditorium.

In an effort to help share our love of dance with our dancers' families and the community, we prepare these ballets. These beautiful stories are created by novelist Cynthia Henry and the ballets are choreographed by Miss Theresa's Dance Company - The TLC Dance Company.

I just want to thank every one of the countless families I have had the opportunity to meet over the past ten years. You have helped me fulfill my dream by allowing me to share something that is so special. Through your support, encouragement, and overall caring, we have become a stronger and more well rounded dance studio. Each and every dancer who has come through our doors has touched my heart and changed our program in one way or another. I thank you for the chance to be a part of your life. Investigating Dance Studios; Not Sure What to Ask?
Maybe this will help... Dance Expressions has put together a sort of "guide" to common questions and also some that are not-so-common. There are many different Studios out there and each one offers something different. That means not every studio will always offer what you may be looking for. It is a good idea to talk with the potential Studio a little and find out what they are all about. We want to help you as much as we can as you prepare for your child's dance lessons, so we are offering this guide to you. We look forward to being one of your options.
