Swedish Hill Wins 2010 Governor's Cup
We recently won the Governor's Cup for our Riesling Cuvee, a very exciting accomplishment since this is now our third time winning the Governor's Cup (we also won in 1994 and 2008). The Governor's Cup recognizes the "Best of Show" or top prize out of 850 entries in the Classic, known as "The Oscars" of New York wine. Swedish Hill's Riesling Cuvee, winner of the Governor's Cup, has fresh floral and fruity aromas and flavors and is deliciously refreshing, complex and pleasing to both dry and sweet wine drinkers.
Swedish Hill also won "Best Cayuga White" for its 2009 Cayuga White, "Best Vidal Blanc" for its 2009 Vidal Blanc and gold medals for 2009 Dry Riesling and 2009 Riesling.
The NY Wine & Food Classic Competition concludes our competition season bringing us to a total of 48 gold medals won in 2010!
