Dr. Elaine F. Greene has been in independent practice, offering counseling, psychotherapy and consultation in the Rochester area since 1977. Licensed by New York State to perform psychological services, Dr. Greene’s clinical work involves a practical and varied approach designed to provide help for people with many different personal concerns. Issues frequently dealt with include problems of stress management, anxiety, depression, relationships, work life, anger management, addictive/compulsive behavior and coping with physical illness and losses in life. Clients include individuals and couples.
Dr. Greene is a member of the American Psychological Association, New York State Psychological Association and Rochester Women’s Network. She has served on the Board of Directors of the New York State Psychological Association, Genesee Valley Psychological Association, and Alternatives for Battered Women, Inc. Genesee Valley Psychological Association gave Dr. Greene its Outstanding Psychologist Award.
