Tennis Scene...what's new!
New from Wilson for 2011...BLX racquet technology continues! While the BLX Six One Tour used by Federer goes forward, there
are several new additions to the lineup for players' frames! Coming in January are five new Blade BLX
racquets, including the Blade Tour BLX, Blade 98 BLX (in both a Black and Gold or Black and Hot Pink color), Blade Team BLX and an all new Blade Lite BLX which offers a 100 square inch head size and 10.2 ounce weight to suit ambitious junior to touring pros alike.
Also new to the scene is a Tour Limited BLX designed in cooperation with Justine Henin. At 27.5 inches
in length, this racquet what Justine uses and is a modified version of last season's Tour BLX which
will carry forward.
According to Wilson, 66 of their touring pros will be making the switch to these new racquets in January 2011, including 25 using the Blade BLX Pink.
BLX adds basalt fibers to the frame which when combined with a new grommet style and grip technologies results in "the perfect feel" according to Wilson.
Also continuing on in the line are the following models:
Six-One Tour BLX, Six One 95 BLX, Six One Team BLX, Six One Lite BLX, Pro Tour BLX, Pro Open BLX, Tour 95 BLX . These will be joined by a new Pro Lite BLX.

The Game Improvement frames emphasize a comfort and ease of use and include the Cirrus One BLX and the Khamsin Five 108 BLX, now joined by the Cierzo Two (of Sledgehammer design) and the
Tempest Four BLX.
The All-Around Frames are designed to provide a forgiving string bed and accurracy and include the Tour BLX, Surge BLX, new Tidal Force BLX and new Coral Reef BLX.
