Kimo & Ka'iulani celebrated with WARM101.3 Inauguration Day! Excerpt by Pat McGonigle from Show's Blog: "Some Tuesdays are better than others. I knew todays morning broadcast on WARM 101.3 would be one for the books the moment I stepped onto the elevator taking me to our legendary studio. Sharing the elevator with me this morning, a radiant woman with flowing black hair and a Hawaiian Plumeria Blossom tucked behind her ear. Standing next to her, a gentleman decked out in a Hawaiian shirt with a warm smile holding a big black guitar case. Are you guys going to WARM 101.3?, I guessed. How did you know? To celebrate the inauguration of Barack Obama, Tony invited Kimo and Kaiulani to sing Hawaiian music live in our studio. Kaiulani lives and breathes Hawaiian music, culture and is an accomplished Hula dancer who teaches others how to pick up the ancient art form of the south Pacific. Somehow, Kaiulani also knows a surprising amount about Tonys childhood neighborhood. We also learned hula dancers do not wear grass skirts!"
Mahalo to all GK Ohana for their contributions to this website.
