Brandon and Megan Schmidt's arrived Saturday, October 2nd, to a welcoming committee ready to help them move into the house across the street from the church, and came to their first service on Sunday the 3rd.

Brandon is joining NBC staff as Associate Pastor for Youth. Please take an opportunity to welcome them and introduce yourself to them. Brandon's first time with the youth group will be this Wednesday night! Woohoo!

Thanks to the cheerful and helpful welcoming committee who greeted Brandon and Megan with helping hands and cheerful smiles when they arrived to unload their belongings on Saturday! Thanks also to the many who put in countless hours doing major renovation and cleanup in the house to make it more welcoming to the Schmidts.

Each Sunday during the month of October, we will be challenged to consider our active involvement in the mission that God gave to His churchto make disciples of all people! Through the preaching of Gods Word during the worship service, from hearing updates from our missionaries during the Sunday School hour, to sharing a meal together each Sunday, and from spending some personal time with our missionaries in home groups during the evening Sundays during the month of October are going to full of challenge, fellowship, information and growth.
