Family Tradition with Fresh New Ideas!
As a second generation, family owned and operated facility since 1968, Lehneis Orthotics and Prosthetics Associates, Ltd. began by bringing custom, state-of-the-art orthotic and prosthetic services from a research and institutional rehabilitation environment to clinical and private practice settings to benefit patients.
Using computer aided design and manufacturing, myoelectrics, functional and neuro-muscular electrical stimulation, ultra-lightweight composites and other state-of-the-art technologies, Lehneis provides patients with the most comfortable and functional prostheses, as well as spinal, upper and lower limb orthoses.
To assure patients of our commitment to quality, all offices and most practitioners are certified by The American Board for Certification of Orthotics, Prosthetics and Pedorthics (ABC). Continuing education is required for all of our practitioners and as mandated by ABC or the individual practitioners certifying agency. Licensure to practice in New York State is not applicable at this time.
