PET PHOTOS: Santa is coming to Paumanok on Sunday, December 5, 1-4PM. $20.00 for the photo session and all monies will go towards the work of Canine Companions for Independence in providing service dogs to people with handicaps other than blindness. Their new northeast training facilities are now located right here in Medford, Long Island. Call 475-1312 to set up a time for your pet family photo with Santa. "Beanie Babies" We are collecting beanie babies at the hospital to ship to the troops in Iraq and Afghanistan. They are small, cute and flexible enough for the troops to keep in their pockets to distribute to the children they meet, to make friends. If you or your children have outgrown your beanie baby collection and would like to donate them we would be glad to receive them. We bring them to an organization working out of St. Anthony's Church in Rocky Point that distributes care packages to the troops. Thank you in advance for supporting our service people!!
VACUUM RAFFLE!!! Through the generosity of "Geese be gone" and Ms. Debbie Davidson we have a wonderful Dyson DC24 vaccum to be raffled off and the proceeds go towards Pets Over Paralysis to cure paralysis in people and animals. This is a $400.00 value. The vacuum has been used once and is in excellent condition. Raffle tickets are $5.00/ three for $10.00. Tickets can be purchased at the reception desk.
OBEDIENCE CLASSES: Puppy kindergarten, Beginner Obedience and Advance Obedience . Our instructors, Debbie Knatz and Sonnie Stern are experienced, knowledgeable, compassionate trainers. In addition to basic training they can also help you with individual training issues. If you are interested in taking a class or for more information please call the office at 475-1312.
