Kadimah School of Buffalo offers an exceptional educational experience for children 18 months through eighth grade. The word Kadimah means "Forward"! By giving your children the gift of a Kadimah education, you are giving them the tools to move forward in life with strong academic strengths, group skills, high self-esteem, confidence, team building and healthy values.
Children in the Pearl and Mel Siegel Nursery School (ages 18 months through pre-K) are provided with the foundation for success as they move forward towards their formal education.
Students in Kindergarten - eighth grade (The Sam, Paula and Sol Messinger Building) are given an exemplary academic, social and spiritual education in a warm, stimulating, nurturing, and state-of-the-art environment. They are guided by dedicated, creative teachers who help empower them to strive towards their potential. New York States educational standards are not only met, but are exceeded. Kadimahs Middle School students experience an accelerated curriculum which results in their graduating from Kadimah having satisfied three New York State Regents requirements in Algebra, Earth Science and Hebrew. This enables them to enter High School with the distinct advantage of taking honors and elective courses.
In addition to students achieving high standards in their general studies, students receive a firm grounding in Jewish knowledge, ethics and practice. An amazing team of talented teachers (three of which are recipients of the national Grinspoon-Steinhart Award for Excellence in Jewish Education) bring out the best in each student. Our goal is to deepen each childs knowledge and understanding on a daily basis, building strong Jewish identities and high self-esteem. Each student develops a high level of comfort with academic challenges and an understanding of a variety of Jewish religious practices.
Intimate classes are an important factor in our students successful mastery of skills. Strong lifelong learning skills are developed and the process of education is made enjoyable.
