October 3rd has become the Day of Prayer For The Peace of Jerusalem. Started by Robert Stearns, over 1200 ministries and ministry leaders are joining together world-wide to pray for the peace of Jerusalem.
Even though Jesus Christ established the New Covenant by dying on the Cross for the sins of the world, tearing the veil of the Old Testament Tabernacle in two through the shedding of His own blood, God stills loves the Jewish people. He wants to graft them back into the olive tree according to Romans 11.
Our roots are in Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. We are Abrahams seed because we belong to Christ. So we need to pray for the peace of Jerusalem. Pray for its restoration, for peace and protection, its reconciliation with God through Jesus Christ, and for healing from the pain of its past.
A great move of God is coming, and it will include the Jewish people. Pray for the peace of Jerusalem.
