Preserving the past is what Joseph Chillino, Owner of Showcase Contracting Corp. has been working to do for the past 25 years as a full service restoration contractor. Choosing the right professional to repair or remodel your older home is an important decision. All too often improper workmanship and choices of material have robbed our vintage buildings of the fine details and characteristics which has identified them historically as an important part of our past culture.
My employees are proud of their abilities in a wide variety of traditional skills and services including historic preservation, renovations, period conforming new construction, cyclical maintenance and repairs. Our philosophy is to properly preserve and restore early architecture and include classical elements in new construction.
As the son of Joseph Chillino Sr., formerly Director of the Restoration Workshop and Master Restorationist for the National Trust for Historic Preservation, I have had experience and training in the techniques and methodology of Old World Artisans.
