Early school experiences help young children learn and grow. For more than 75 years, the Mohawk Country Home School has been providing children ages 2 years and 9 months through 6 years old with a warm, home-like atmosphere for learning. Skilled teachers help children grow socially, physically, creatively, and intellectually. Our commitment is to fulfill each child's needs with age-appropriate programs that carefully balance teacher-directed and child-initiated activities, play, projects, and exploration. At the Home School, children are grouped by age and developmental levels. Small classes with caring, knowledgeable teachers create a happy, comfortable setting. We utilize the remarkable 40-acre Mohawk Day Camp site, complete with an animal farm, apple orchard, grape arbor, playing fields, gymnasium, music rooms, and computer center.
