Motion Denied: MGA Loses Effort to Stall Trial in Fee Fight with O'Melveny
A Los Angeles Superior Court Judge issued a tentative ruling on Friday denying toymaker MGA Entertainment's efforts to stay a lawsuit that was filed by its former lawyers at O'Melveny, but preventing the law firm from disclosing or disseminating any information protected by attorney client privilege.

Survey: Rate of In-House Counsel Salary Increases Slows
The rate of increase averaged 2.6 percent from March 2009 to March 2010, down from the previous year's average increase of 3.4 percent, according to new data from Hildebrandt Baker Robbins.
