Carolyn and Frederick, owners of Wellington's Herbs and Spices welcome you to our country store and the beautiful herb and flower gardens.
We believe that fumigated imported herbs and spices and ground spices containing significant quantities of inert material do not belong in your shopping cart and have intercepted these shopping challenges on your behalf. We grow many of our herbs in our fertile Catskill mountain gardens and some of the spices in our balmy Caribbean garden. For the products we do not grow ourselves, we exercise an unwavering vigilance in their selection.
The beauty of our Catskill Mountain facilities is spectacular. Our farm, which sits atop a hillside, commands a breath-taking view of the Schoharie Valley and the surrounding countryside. Visit us and enjoy the scents of our beautifully landscaped gardens, wander the pristine grounds, fish our three stocked ponds or browse our 4000 sq. ft country store for garden products, antiques, collectibles, teas, herb and spice products, dried flowers and magnificent Eastwind Silver Company jewelry. Enroll in one of our herb classes or enjoy our guided tours for families, senior citizen groups and students.
We invite you to stop, shop and relax with us. You will get a chance to try Carolyn's unforgettable Island Tea in our magnificent and elegant tea room. We also offer lunch daily with a delicious Soup de Jour, and a variety of sandwiches and wraps. Add a treat from our yummy home-baked goods, and your senses will be completely satisfied.
