Welcome to Transit-Station!
Transit Station, now in our seventh year as a general full line Hobby Store, is patterned after a place you would have found in the 1960’s. Our customers usually state that there’s a little bit of everything to be found in here. You can order from us using our online catalog (Coming Soon!), over the phone, or visit our retail location and see our products in person.
Our large open showroom features many of your popular favorites. From Trains to Toys, we offer a variety that will please hobbyists from 1 to 101! Bring the whole family, and enjoy the interactive displays.
We are a great place to find gifts for Birthdays, Christmas, Father's Day, and just because! We carry items for school projects, Boy Scouts and other group activities such as Rocket kits, Pinewood Derby cars and supplies, and general modeling items. Whether a hobbyist or just looking into finding a hobby, Transit Station is where it's at!!
Our roots originate from the Hamburg Model Railroad Station Hobby store. In 1999 we bought that store as it was facing extinction, and operated it for 5 years, while we charted the future for Transit Station. The Hamburg Store was closed in early 2004, so we could dedicate all of our attention to the Transit store. Here we offer more of the same favorites from Hamburg, but have increased the variety and types of hobby items we carry.
