HOME ABSTRACT COMPANY was organized in 1981 as a proprietorship, in order to give St. Lawrence County a kinder, gentler and less expensive alternative in abstract service. In 1994, it was incorporated as a trade name for ROBERTS RESEARCH, INC. JoAnne G. Roberts is President & CEO of ROBERTS RESEARCH, INC. dba HOME ABSTRACT COMPANY. JoAnne has been abstracting since 1978.

We are a full-service abstract company, serving only St. Lawrence County, New York. We do many types of real property searches including: Full 40-, 50- or 60-year abstracts, abstract redates, current-owner or PMM searches, two- owner searches. three-owner searches, UCC searches, 5-year Tax searches, credit searches, lien & judgment searches, foreclosure searches. We also provide copies of documents upon request. We record deeds, mortgages, foreclosure actions, etc. with phone calls or faxes after recording to give instrument numbers and times of recording. (We do not do criminal searches or bankruptcy searches.) Call us for our very competative pricing!
Our turn-around time is 24-hours or less for most types of searches. Great service is paramount and we do everything possible to get your search to you by your deadline.
