It is with great pleasure that we announce the opening of our new practice locations in Woodbury and Manhasset. Our new, state of the art facilities under the banner of Dermatology and Aesthetic Associates of Long Island are located at 40 Crossways Park Drive in Woodbury, NY and 1350 Northern Blvd. in Manhasset.
In addition to being able to offer our expertise in general and surgical dermatology as well as Mohs Micrographic Surgery, we will also be able to provide expert care in all aspects of cosmetic dermatology, including laser surgery, Botox, dermal filler injections, chemical peels and sclerotherapy. We carry an extensive array of skin care products, ranging from acne medications to anti-aging agents to dermatologist designed sunscreens. To better serve our patients, we are now offering additional evening and Saturday hours in order to provide minimal wait time for appointments.
We accept most insurance plans and our professional and courteous staff will be happy to accommodate your appointment needs in a timely fashion.

Daniel M. Siegel, MD, FAAD, Elected President of The American Academy of Dermatology
We are very pleased to announce that Daniel M. Siegel, MD, FAAD, has been elected president of the American Academy of Dermatology (Academy), the worlds largest dermatologic society, representing more than 16,000 physicians specializing in the diagnosis and medical, surgical and cosmetic treatment of skin, hair and nail conditions. In addition, Dr. Siegel will hold this same position for the American Academy of Dermatology Association. He will be installed as president-elect in February 2011 and will hold the office of president for one year beginning in March 2012.
My goal as president is to continue our specialtys efforts in providing excellent dermatologic care to our patients, stated Dr. Siegel. To that end, the Academy must continue to provide first-class continuing medical education to dermatologists, advocate for increased funding for research, and participate in medical economic decisions.
