Founded by William H. Simonson in 1887, the Simonson Funeral Home has been honored by area families' trust and confidence for well over a century. Today, William's great-grandson Bill Simonson, and his associate John Sommese, continue to offer Richmond Hill families their care, attention, and concern.
As funeral professionals, John and Bill are proud of their family history, and their commitment to their profession and community. John's father and grandfather were associates of the Simonson family since the founding of the company, and John is Past President of the New York State Funeral Directors Association and also has been the past president of the local funeral director's association in New York City. Both men are past presidents of Lion's Club International.
