This summer at Camp, I will make new friends, develop new skills, learn to swim, hike a mountain, play guitar, go canoeing, catch my first fish, and get to know myself. I'll be at Camp Chingachgook on Lake George in the Adirondack Mountains.

Camp Chingachgook sits on the quiet east shore of Lake George. The summer months are filled with the excitement of summer campboth overnight and dayled by highly trained and motivated staff, many of whom were Chingachgook campers. While campers are having fun they are learning to challenge themselves and support each other in a safe, cooperative, and inspiring community.
In addition to traditional camp, Chingachgook offers summer adventure trips for older kids, typically five-day to three and five-week wilderness trips backpacking, sailing, kayaking, canoeing, biking, and more.
YMCA Camp Chingachgook leads the northeast in adaptive sailing for recreational and seriously competitive sailors with mobility constraints.
